I am all about Personal Growth, and I'm constantly searching for new ways to change the way I think, and become a better person. My heart longs to become a better listener, counsellor, friend, speaker, conversationalist, leader, and writer. Do you have this longing as well?

I find spiritual inspiration for my Blog Posts during moments of self-awareness and self-reflection. Usually, this happens as I'm reading my Bible, or when I hear a quote or a Scripture verse that moves me deeply.
One gift the Lord has bestowed upon me is a love for little children. I have a deep fondness for these little innocent people that will one day become adults, and I firmly believe that the first 5 years of a child's life is very important. Training children in God's ways is upmost important, and doubly important, is making them feel loved and appreciated. My husband and I expressed affection to our children on daily basis. Through our words, actions, and making every birthday special. They knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that their parents loved them unconditionally.
Birthday parties were extremely important in our household, and we made a big todo with cakes, presents, and novelty-themed birthday parties. Our children are in their late twenties now and they can still recall each and every birthday party throughout their childhood.

There are many people that do not want anything to do with God's ways, and treat us terribly because of it. Have you faced ridicule and harassment for living a life of a believer? Sometimes, other Christians are the ones that treat us the worst. This verse found in the Old Testament comes to mind when I am faced with mistreatment for my beliefs, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me." (Matthew 5:10-12)
