The Lord wants to help us in every aspect of our life --but we have to ask Him for this divine help with humble hearts. Praying is our way of communicating with our Heavenly Father.

A Prayer for Sunday

Father in Heaven,
Today is the day that You have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Lord, this is Your holy day --The day that You have set aside for Your people to serve You. May I keep it holy in all manner of conduct and behavior, and may You be at the center of my thoughts all day long.
​
Lord, I truly am grateful for all Your blessings, and I want to express them to You now. Thank You for leading me and guiding me with Your mighty hand, and for forgiving me when I do wrong. Thank You for not giving up on me when I fail. You are full of mercy and love and desire to see everyone do well. Thank You for second chances at life and thank You for today.

May I serve You with my whole heart and learn what pleases You. Help me on this Sunday, to do what is right in Your eyes. Continue to lead and guide me in your mercy and goodness. Direct my steps as I commit my day to You. Help me to know which way I should walk, for I lift up my eyes to You.

A Prayer for Monday

Father in Heaven,
Thank You for this good Monday that You have blessed me with. I pray that my life will be pleasing to You all day long. I pray that wisdom will go before me and lead my steps and direct my path. Give me ears to hear, and eyes to see when You are speaking to me throughout the day.
​
Lord, I desire to sow in righteousness so that I may reap mercy, and I pray that You will help me to make the right choices. Give me a heart that is forgiving, kind, and loving to others so that I may reap those things in my own life someday.
​
Lord, bless this first day of the week with Your heavenly blessings so that I may walk in Your ways each day, and be covered with protection and be filled with your peace.
​
Guide and direct me this day, for You are my God and it is You that I have turned to for help. There is no other that offers such rich spiritual guidance in life.
Thank You Lord Jesus, be with me now as I start my day,

A Prayer for Tuesday

Father,

Thank you for today and for its many blessings. Thank You for life and for new opportunities. Thank You for the freshness that each day brings. Thank You for this Tuesday. Lord, Your faithfulness is great for Your mercies are new each morning. Even though I don't deserve Your mercy or kindness, You continue to pour out Your love to me.
​
​
Help me, on this day, to do what is needed and what is being asked of me. Give me the grace to accomplish each task with dignity and honor, to bring glory to Your name. I commit this day to You and ask for Your mighty hand to be upon me. Show me Your face, O Lord, let me see Your light. Let Your presence surround me wherever I go, and with whatever I do.

Fill me with peace as I commit these moments to You. Bless me with a covering of peace.

A Prayer for Wednesday

Father,
I have set my love upon You. You are my refuge and my God. May I dwell within Your safe keeping. In the shadow of Your wings, may I find refuge. May I walk in safety knowing You are by my side. Comfort me with Your love and shield me with Your everlasting arms.
​
Give me strength to meet the challenges of this week. Help me to keep my eyes on You. You are my strength, O God. You are my help, and it is to You I call upon this Wednesday. Renew my mind, bring relief from the stress, help me to be joyful in all Your blessings and provisions.
​
Consider me today, and walk beside me, guiding my words, thoughts, and actions. I want to walk uprightly before You. I want to be a blessing to my family and friends, and I want to make wise choices. Please strengthen my spirit with resolve to do what is right, to speak the truth, and to forgive others when they do me wrong.
​
On this Wednesday, may I feel Your grace upon me. I ask all of this in Your Precious Name,

A Prayer for Thursday

Heavenly Father,
​
Give me patience today and help me through this day. I need to remain strong and rely upon Your grace and strength. Father, meet with me and pour Your spirit upon today. Bless me from within and may my countenance reveal Your work within my heart.
​
Develop within me the fruits of the spirit that reveal I am Your workmanship. Help me not to be ashamed of You. Plant within my heart Your love for others, joy that gives me strength, peace that passes all understanding, patience, kindness to all men, goodness, a faithful spirit, gentleness, and self-control.
​
Help me believe in Your inner workings so I can receive them into my life. Remove my unbelief, O Lord, and set me free with the truth that is found in Your word.
​
As I read the Word of God, fill me with understanding and light my path in life, and especially on this day, as I seek your face.
​
Guide me with every step I take so I can fulfill everything You have purposed for me on this Thursday.
​

Father in Heaven,

As I pray for today and all of its worries and cares, I present them to You and lay them before You now. I know You are aware of my life and all that I face, so I cast off all my cares, and lay all my burdens at Your feet.
​
You are my God today and always, and I will put my trust in You. As I wrap up this week, and take on the challenges of the day, please meet with me, and let Your presence be with me all day long. Help me not to fear any evil or calamity, for I know You are with me, and I will never be ashamed, because I have put my trust in You.
​
Please protect and cover me with the shadow of Your wings and keep me safe from emotional and physical harm. Protect all of my loved ones and draw them to Your saving grace through the acknowledgement of Your love for them.
​
I ask all of this in Your precious name,

A Prayer for Saturday

​Father in Heaven,
​
I have chosen to believe in You with my whole heart and because of that awareness of You, I have peace within my inner being. There is no question that You are aware of me and know my thoughts, my goings, and my wanderings. I present to You this beautiful Saturday and pray a blessing over the weekend. May You continue to pour out peace to me, in my spirit, and in my home. Fill each room of my house with Your tender mercies and love.

Give me grace to lay the work week aside and enjoy my family. Help me to find time to rest and to find time to catch up on a project or two. May I take one moment at a time, to ponder, and to love, and to remember all the blessings You have given to me.
​
I bless Your name today, and always, and thank You for life and goodness. You have been so faithful to me all week long and I thank You.
​
Bless my family today, bless my home, my pets, and bless all of my efforts to make a lovely home with a beautiful atmosphere where Your love can flourish.

A Prayer for Blessings All Week Long

​Father in Heaven,
​
I present to You my whole week ahead, and offer the days up to You, asking You to cover them with Your blessing. Please provide heavenly wisdom, understanding, and knowledge for all the challenges that will meet me. You already know what I will face, and I am asking for help now.
​
Go before me, on this day, and let Your holy presence guide me with words of love, forgiveness, kindness, and care. May every choice I make bring blessings and not a curse. Help me to sow in righteousness that I may reap mercy one day.
​
So, I present to You each day of the week, praying for protection, mercy, guidance, and wisdom to go before me.

Thank You for this chance to communicate with You and thank You for loving me.
