Key People In Your Life

It’s amazing how some people can have a great impact on your life as you grow and develop, and I can definitely say this of my Aunt Diane.

She is one of the critical people in my life who have helped me keep the vision of godliness, femininity, composure and charisma about me.

Many times I think of her when getting dressed for different occasions, “How would Aunt Diane present herself?”

Wanting to keep the same manner of style and composure, she always looked polished, always presented herself well, and she was always ready for a laugh, which drew us kids to her.

There is something to be said of someone like this, so I made sure to devote a whole chapter to her in my memoir :-)

Lots of people have had great influence on me over the years, and yes, My Aunt Diane is one of them.

But there are many others who I keep before me, who have affected me greatly in one way or another.

All for the good, and I would definitely say, all appointed of the Lord.

As you walk with the Lord you begin to understand that everyone you meet has a purpose in crossing your path for one reason or another.

You glean tidbits of wisdom from some, and guidance from others. Even gleaning how not to act.

Thus fashioning yourself into what God has ordained for your life, becoming a pattern others can follow.

These people become key people in your life. Pointing you in a direction you should or shouldn't go.

I want this for my life as well, I want to be a pattern of a godly woman that others can glean from, laugh and learn from.

Hopefully others will see the mark of the Lord on my life and want to follow in the same steps.

My prayer everyday is that the Lord would guide my steps according to His purpose for my life, that His will would be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

I pray that He would go before me and direct my thoughts, my words and my steps, leading me in the path of life. Bringing glory to Him.

I also pray that I could be a key person to someone else.

Helping them to see God's hand in their own life and encouraging them along life's journey.

As I look to Him and trust His leading, I'm confident He will bring about divine appointments with people I’m supposed to meet.

Those that will become a key part in my future choices or me a key part for them.

Can you say there are those in your life that have had a great effect on you? Has the Lord brought key people into your life?

We only want to surround ourselves with positive people who can help us grow and move us upwards, not bring us down.

Consider asking the Lord to bring key people along in your life that can lift you higher and help you see the brighter things in life.

Those that will point you in the direction you should be heading.

Sometimes no words are needed, sometimes it is their personal testimony or behavior alone that guides you.

When you walk with the Lord it is so easy to become discouraged for many reasons, but His word tells us to “ Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. ” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

We need to pray for His purposes to be done in our life. Pray that those key people would surface. Pray we hear from the Lord ourselves.

Above all, let us give thanks everyday for His goodness, and for the way He has led us thus far.

For this is His will for all of us right now.

Rejoice, pray, and give thanks.

Take Action:

Find those positive people in your life that have a joyful spirit and find out where their source of joy comes from.

Often times you will see their joy comes from the Lord.

Follow them, they may be the key to understanding your future.

Hi there! I'm Angie, and I started this website ministry to women, children, marriages, and families in 2019 with the aim of enriching the hearts of women with the love of Christ. I love sharing my faith by way of heartfelt blog posts, powerful prayers for today, praise songs, and Christian lifestyle tips, with the hope of inspiring women to become the best they can be.

Would you like to be someone that inspires others? And blesses their families with love and kindness? Would you like to pray more for your loved ones?
