Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ. Romans 10:17.
How Does One Receive the Gift of Faith?

Faith begins with what we hear. Our ears are the first thing to hear truth. Which is any talk, discussion or reading about God and His ways.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever should be believe on Him will not perish, but have eternal life, (John 3:16, ESV)
We Chose to Receive Faith
​
After that, our heart has a choice to believe what we are hearing. This is when we either hear and love truth, or hear and decide not to love truth. It is that simple.

Faith is a Gift from God
​
Once our heart decides to believe and love truth, the gift of faith can grow in our hearts.
​​
​
Faith is Birthed in our hearts
​
So, faith comes to the believing heart as soon as one decides to love truth. The Lord can breathe upon this love for truth by giving us the gift of salvation through faith.
​
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation, (2 Corinthians 6:2, ESV).
The 1st Step After Faith is Received into Our Hearts
​
Inviting Jesus to be our Lord and Savior is the first step towards salvation. The Lord can enter our heart and give us a new birth when we acknowledge our need for a Savior.

Receive a New Start to Life
​
A foundation of faith is laid in one’s heart by way of believing Jesus is our Savior. Then the Lord can cleanse us of all sin, which is unrighteousness, and give us a new start at life.

The Bible says that today is the day of salvation. Not tomorrow. Not next week - today is the day of salvation.
Change Your Life Forever

This is a glorious thing, because not many believe, and not many want to take the next step and change their life forever.
​​

Choose a Different Path in Life
​
When we accept Jesus Christ into our heart as Lord and Savior, we are choosing to walk differently than the world. Sometimes, walking a very different path than anyone else in our life.

Trust the Holy Spirit to Guide You in Your New Path
​
But as we pray, and read our Bible, a new relationship with the Lord will open to us, and the Holy Spirit will begin to lead and guide us in the new path we have chosen. Then, our faith will soar.

Faith invites the Holy Spirit to Be Apart of our life
​
When we open our heart to receiving faith, and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God's only Son, the Holy Spirit will be imparted to us.

The Fruits of the Spirit
​
The fruits of the spirit will begin to grow in our heart as we are filled with the Holy Spirit in our new walk of life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness.
​
Our faith will begin to grow as we walk with the Lord in this new relationship.
​​
